Thank you for joining in on the Book Character Quiz this morning on Zoom. It was great to see you all focused and enjoying the activity together. It was also lovely to have Sara join our home base today!

You have all been busy again with your work from home. I am really impressed to see your graphs you have been creating - great digital work there too. Many of you have enjoyed the free writing option today - nice to be given some freedom to choose!























The Adventures of the Two Teddies - Ben

Once upon a time there were two Teddy S.H.I.E.L.D agents, fighting in a forest on a mighty mission to find the door of dimension to get to an enchanted forest to find the lost teddies 

“Oh sorry I forgot to say who the 2 teddys are, Eddy is a teddy with fur as blue as the sky,Greddy is a green teddy with fur as green as the grass, remember that now”. 

‘Eddy’!!! Yelled Greddy at the top of his voice “I see the door”!!!

They sprinted to the door, they saw the key that goes into it and they put it in and… they twisted the key!! 

They step into the door and they change dimensions!!!!! 

“BATTLE ON ENDOR”!!!!!!!! 

“Wrong  dimension!!!! Twist the key again”.

They twisted the key again and… 

“Someone's wrestling crocodile”

“No, not someone, Crocodile Dundee”!!

“Let's get out of here before we get eaten by a crocodile”!!!

They twisted the key again and…

“Look, a 1980s Lego spaceman is building a Lego spaceship”!! 

“I am a Master Builder”!! Yelled the spaceman.

“Wrong dimension, twist the key”.

 They twisted the key and…

“A forest!! Let me check something! No Ewoks,Rebels,Stormtroopers,men wrestling crocodiles and finally no Lego spacemen building Lego spaceships”. 

“Good let's go and find the lost Teddies”.

Wow! What a super start to Term 2 learning from home. I have absolutely loved getting all your emails with photos, messages and documents of work. I am so proud of you all as your work really shows me you have put in heaps of effort today. I hope you have enjoyed your first day of learning and are looking forward to tomorrow's activities. K10 All Dressed Up In Character For Book Character Day

Wow, I was so impressed when all the children entered our space on Friday morning all dressed up in character for Book Character Day and they had also remembered their book too. Families had certainly gone to a lot of trouble making and organising costumes so that their child had a special day at school. Congratulations to Gracie and Sammie who were our home base finalists. Sammie then went to win the overall costume for middle school and received a couple of books to read at home.
