K7 and K8's Rock Art

Kererū 7 and Kererū 8 spent some time in Term 2 painting rocks.  Each child choose and planned their designs and then we got painting!  It took us a few sessions, as we had to wait for each coat of paint to dry but we ended up with some creative Emoji rocks, watermelons, monsters and ladybugs!  We think they would make wonderful paper weights, garden decorations or just a wee memory from 2020!

K10 All Dressed Up In Character For Book Character Day

Wow, I was so impressed when all the children entered our space on Friday morning all dressed up in character for Book Character Day and they had also remembered their book too. Families had certainly gone to a lot of trouble making and organising costumes so that their child had a special day at school. Congratulations to Gracie and Sammie who were our home base finalists. Sammie then went to win the overall costume for middle school and received a couple of books to read at home.
